Who we are

Safer (besafer.io) is a daily construction safety quiz run by Site Proof Consulting, LLC (“Safer,” “we,” “us”). You can reach us at [email protected].

What Safer is, and isn’t

• Safer is for safety awareness and practice. It isn’t legal advice, it doesn’t replace the training your employer is required to provide, and finishing a quiz doesn’t certify or qualify anyone for anything.
• We aren’t affiliated with or endorsed by OSHA or the U.S. Department of Labor.
• We work hard to keep every question accurate and we cite the OSHA standard behind it, but rules change and every job site is different. Always follow the regulations that apply to your work, your employer’s safety program, and the competent person on your site.
• Questions are based on federal OSHA standards. Your company, your job site or your state’s OSHA plan may have stricter requirements. When they do, follow the stricter rule. A different answer on Safer doesn’t change what your employer requires.
• The photos are AI-generated illustrations. They don’t show real job sites, companies or people.

Playing and crews

• You can play without an account. Your answers, scores and streak are saved in your browser on your device.
• If you start or join a crew, we store the name you pick and your daily scores, and the other people in that crew can see them. Pick a name you’re comfortable sharing.
• Don’t use Safer to harass anyone, pretend to be someone else, or use offensive names. We may remove names, people or crews that break these terms.

Crew Pro plans

Crew Pro is a paid plan for employers and crew leaders. It’s priced per job site, and each job site is one crew of up to 25 people.

• Price. $20 a month or $200 a year per job site, plus any sales tax that applies. The price for your plan is shown before you pay, and you’re charged when you check out.
• Promotions. We may offer promo codes or free time from time to time. Each one has its own terms, shown when you use it.
• Renewal. Plans renew automatically every month or year until you cancel.
• Canceling. Cancel any time from Billing in your dashboard. Your crews keep working until the end of the time you’ve already paid for.
• No partial refunds. We don’t refund unused time, including when you cancel or remove a job site partway through a billing period.
• Adding job sites. When you add a job site partway through a billing period, the difference for the rest of that period is charged right away.
• If a plan ends or a payment fails. The crews pause until the plan is renewed. Workers can still play the daily quiz, and we don’t delete crews or scores because a plan paused.
• Price changes. We’ll email you at least 30 days before a new price applies to your plan.
• Payments. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

If you manage a Crew Pro

• As a manager, you can see the names and scores of the people in your crews and download participation records.
• You’re responsible for telling your crew how you use Safer and for using the dashboard in line with your company’s policies and the law.
• Safer scores are a training aid. Please don’t use them as the only basis for discipline or other employment decisions.
• Keep your sign-in email secure. Anyone who can open your email can sign in to your dashboard.

Sponsors

Sponsors pay to show their name, a short line and a link. Sponsors never write or change the questions. A sponsor spot isn’t our endorsement of the sponsor’s products or services.

Our content

The questions, explanations, photos and design of Safer belong to Site Proof Consulting, LLC or the people we license them from. You’re welcome to share your score and talk about the questions with your crew. Please don’t copy the question bank or the photos into another product or website. OSHA regulations themselves are public, and our citations point to them.

Keeping Safer running

We aim to have a new quiz every day, but we can’t promise Safer will always be available or free of mistakes. We may change or end features. If we ever end Crew Pro, we’ll give you notice and refund any prepaid time after the end date.

Disclaimer

Safer is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Limit on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Site Proof Consulting, LLC won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, arising from your use of Safer. Our total liability for any claim about Safer is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if you haven’t paid us anything.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change materially affects a paid plan, we’ll email Crew Pro managers before it takes effect.
